Community Education

Where life and learning meet.

Community Education is here to help you explore a new hobby, find your next passion project, or refine your career skills in a fun and supportive environment. Our classes are designed for the casual learner, so there are no tests, no grades, and no credits.

Check out online or on-campus classes in visual and performing arts, crafting, food and wine appreciation, language, writing, and more! No previous experience or application is required and classes run throughout the quarter.

Student Testimonials

"Patricia is such an excellent teacher, she breaks down the language in a way that makes us understand sentence structure and grammar. I’ve never had honest and clear feedback before like I got from Patricia, which was invaluable. Highly recommend this course!"

- Kasey G., French Fundamentals

"Marni is a calm and patient teacher. I particularly appreciate that she takes the intimidation out of gardening and doesn't give the impression that you have to do everything perfectly."

- Susan B., Urban Farming: Winter Gardening
